Our FounderDoug Fromberg

Douglas Fromberg founded Capital Enhancement in 1996. He will be remembered as a great friend, colleague, and mentor. He died unexpectedly in June, 2009 of a brain aneurysm. He was taken from us too soon and is greatly missed.

Doug had been involved in Estate, Tax, and Financial Planning for over 30 years. He was formerly a partner in the Ayco Company, where he represented some of the firm's senior clients. He had also worked for Prudential Insurance, the law firm of Halpern, Schachter, & Wohl, and the Internal Revenue Service.

Doug received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of Rochester, his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School and his LL.M. in Taxation from the New York University School of Law. He was a member of the Bar of New Jersey and New York, and held the Chartered Life Underwriter designation.

Doug leaves behind his wife, Patricia, his son, Richard, and his daughter, Marcy, in addition to former colleagues and clients who loved and respected him.
